At Shamrock Family Eye Care we are committed to serving our patients and our community. We are thankful to participate in many worthwhile activities that provide a positive impact on our local and worldwide community.
We invite you to join us in giving back.
In July, the Hilliard Food Pantry experienced a fire that destroyed it’s warehouse and everything inside.
To support the rebuilding efforts, Shamrock will donate $10 to the Hilliard Food Pantry for every pair of sunglasses sold through December.
A $10 donation provides an amazing $50+ in groceries to families in need!

We were able to provide over 4,300 meals to kids in need. We also had a fun afternoon with our awesome staff assembling snack packs and meal packs for the organization.
The Run with Passion 5K supports the Passion Center for Children in Malawi, Africa. Passion Center for Children is a non-profit organization that seeks to join God in rescuing, redeeming, and restoring orphans, the vulnerable, and whole communities in Malawi, Africa. What first began as a ministry that fed and cared for 30 orphaned children, nearly 20 years later, has grown into an organization that cares for more than 500 children and serves over 150 villages.
In 1925, Helen Keller challenged the Lions to become “knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness” and the Lions Club rose to the challenge . Today, sight programs remain one of their defining causes. As eye care providers, we clearly appreciate their mission and support them in their endeavors.
If you have old glasses that you would like to donate, please feel free to drop them off to us. These glasses are taken by the Lions Club, donated to The OSU College of Optometry, sorted based upon prescription, and used on social service missions around the world via the Student VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity).
Through the generosity of patients and friends of Shamrock Family Eye Care, we’ve been able to donate brand new filled backpacks to Operation Backpack®. These backpacks were then collected and distributed to homeless and at-risk children throughout the Greater Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus areas. A filled backpack relieves struggling parents of a financial burden and provides a sense of normalcy to the otherwise chaotic lives of these children, helping them to look and feel more like their classmates.
Most importantly, a filled backpack allows these children to start the school year feeling prepared and confident, with the knowledge that their education is important and that someone believes in them.
Throughout the year, Shamrock Family Eye Care conducts food drives to provide food and resources to those in need. Some of the food banks we support include: Mid-Ohio Foodbank and Help My Neighbor
We sponsor several missionaries around the world that are providing wonderful opportunities in the communities that they serve.
